Tradewinds Consulting has developed major donor events for CEF at many outstanding venues, including The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO (pictured above) and an evening dinner and concert catered at the Alamo Mission in San Antonio, TX.
Guest entertainers have included America's Tenor, Steve Amerson, Broadway veteran, Laurie Gayle Stephenson, and Irish singer and songwriters Keith and Kristyn Getty — among many others.
An event designed and implemented by TCI is always an unforgettable, first-class experience.
TCI supports the development of high impact, major donor retreat weekends. The weekend events feature performance artists, speakers worship elements — as well as time to enjoy the venue and its surrounds. The weekends are designed to achieve $1 million and up.
In fall 2004, TCI designed and implemented a host committee development plan that achieved commitments of $759,000 from just 20 couples toward a three-year event strategy consisting of a spring and fall major donor retreat weekends called "ministry briefings." The net results of the following series of 17 events was revenue exceeding $18 million from over 1000 guests at a fully loaded cost of $2.4 million for a return of over 7:1. The results are due to the same factors as the mail: Client’s reputation coupled with excellent planning and execution enhanced by a superb client-consulting relationship. It is an unbeatable combination!
Additionally, an internal study conducted by CEF in 2009 showed that people who attended the weekend briefings between 2005 and 2009 increased their giving to the ministry by $3.1 million outside of the briefings through the mail or other gifting opportunities.
TCI developed a public relations department to serve CEF with its publicity needs in 2011. CEF now has growing press relationships resulting in hundreds of articles printed nationwide along with multi-media interviews being solicited from news networks on a monthly basis.
